Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Austin, TX. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, equipment operation, and ensuring patient safety.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. Benefits include day-one coverage and competitive pay; travel support provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor hemodynamic data
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and equipment logs
