Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring safety throughout.

Candidates must have one year Cath Lab experience and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, ARRT/RCIS/RCES). The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with strong clinical team support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification.
• Radiologic Technologist license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
