MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, West Virginia. The role involves direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and maintaining documentation and safety standards.

The position begins 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. Requirements include a current license and relevant certifications, plus 2 years of Cath Lab

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustains a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and coworkers to address physical, general and psychosocial needs of the patient.
• Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, obtaining catheters, wires and other inventory and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care and maintains a patient-focused environment.
• Promotes a safe work environment for staff and customers and supports national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
