Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hendersonville, North Carolina. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and assist physicians during procedures on a 40-hour work week with daytime shifts.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters and devices and operating monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, sterile technique, and proper documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and accurate records throughout the procedure.
