Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Henderson, NV. The Cath Lab Tech will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure patient safety in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate has one year of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES or RCIS certification, and must comply with radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech or equivalent.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems; ensure proper functionality.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, maintaining infection control and procedural protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
