Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hendersonville, NC. This role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, monitoring hemodynamics, and ensuring patient safety.
The position requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.
Qualifications
- One year Cath Lab experience in a clinical setting.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and monitoring systems.
- Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control protocols.
- Document patient records and equipment logs.
- Assist with inventory management and supply storage.
