Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients, and operating imaging equipment.

You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. Required qualifications include 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs.
• Ensure radiation safety and adherence to hospital protocols.
