Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic systems; maintain sterile field and infection control.

Education

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience

BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

ARRT RCIS RCES certification

ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

PALS ENPC certification

Radiologic Technologist license (state regulated)
