Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist in Birmingham, Alabama. The assignment requires 5+ years of Cath Lab experience and RCIS certification for a cardiac cath lab role with IABP, Impella, Laser, and Shockwave exposure.

Details include a 13-week travel assignment, 36 hours per week (3x12h shifts), and a day-shift schedule. Start date is 09/14/2026 with call requirements and no floating. Housing stipends and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Cath Lab.
• ACLS and BLS certification required (AHA only).
• RCIS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, Laser, Shockwave, and Phillips panning required.
• Merge Hemo experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cath Lab/EP procedures in a cardiac lab setting.
• Provide patient care in a high-acuity cardiac environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and data accuracy.
