Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Stockton, CA. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety with specialized imaging equipment.

The position requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Travel-friendly benefits and clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification or equivalent.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control.
• Maintain documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
