Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing in Saint Helena, CA seeks a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and assist physicians with catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placements.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; ensure infection control and procedural protocols are followed.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed; maintain accurate documentation.
