Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 17-week travel assignment in Carmichael, CA. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and ensure patient safety throughout the process.

The position offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with licensure reimbursement and 24/7 recruiter support to help you succeed on assignment.

Qualifications

• Required: One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and contrast injectors.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup; follow infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and supply storage.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
