Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a Knoxville, TN assignment. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS and ARRT (R) CI or RCIS/CERCI certification as preferred. You will scrub, assist, and monitor patients during cardiac procedures in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities include room setup, instrument preparation, data recording, and teamwork with physicians. Travel-friendly schedule with 40 hours/week and 10-hour shifts is typical.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) - CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State licensing may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms, stock and sterilize instruments.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, drape patient and set up instruments.
• Operate and monitor equipment in the cardiac cath lab and ensure QC of all tools.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physicians with catheters.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Support life-saving measures including defibrillation and CPR when needed.
