Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for Prestonsburg, KY. The role supports cardiac catheterization procedures, scrubbing in and assisting with data recording and patient monitoring.

Requirements include 1 year of Cath Lab experience and BLS/ACLS with ARRT (R) -CI or CCI-RCIS preferred, plus state licensing as required. Travel opportunity with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State licensing as required when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cath lab rooms and ensure stock and sterility.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment; monitor hemodynamics.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician.
• Record hemodynamic data and angiographic runs.
• Monitor patient status during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as CPR.
