Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Gastonia, NC. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

The position requires one year of Cath Lab experience and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES. Travel benefits and award-winning support are provided to help you succeed on assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
• Maintain documentation for patient records and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control.
