Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for FirstChoice—its mobile staffing program at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center in Iowa. The role offers premium pay and maximum scheduling flexibility with opportunities regionally and nationwide, with part-time, day-shift assignments.

The RN will float across hospital locations, adhere to the nursing process, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve patient outcomes while maintaining licensure and credentials for specific

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
18+ months of Med Surg, Tele or PCU experience; 2+ years for other specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, ED and Behavioral Health.
Credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS, ACLS, and PALS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
Apply nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
Act independently within licensure and scope of knowledge.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement outcomes.
Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse practice settings.
