Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, and travel employment.

As part of a cardiovascular surgical team, you’ll monitor EKGs, assist during angioplasty and catheterization, and support pacemaker/ICD implants. BLS is required, with 1–2 years acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 2 years RN experience; 1–2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose heart conditions or as treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
