Job summary

TotalMed RN in Tucson, AZ is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts, starting 09/21/2026. The right candidate will bring 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS certification to a cardiovascular surgical team.

You will assist during catheterizations, angioplasties, and device implants, working closely with physicians and other staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 2 years minimum experience.
• Recent acute care experience preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Support cardiac catheterizations to diagnose conditions or provide treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and ICDs in a cardiovascular setting.
