Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. The Cath Lab RN will join a skilled cardiovascular team in a surgical environment, assisting during angioplasty, catheterization and related procedures while maintaining EKG equipment and patient monitoring.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Travel nursing assignment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies and assist physicians with cardiac catheterization.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and ICDs; monitor EKG equipment.
