Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Cath Lab RN will work with a team in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to the physician with monitoring EKG equipment and during angioplasty, catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and the ability to work long shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
