Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of interventional cardiac cath lab experience and ARRT or RCIS certification to join our team in Sayre, PA.

You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitor patients, and ensure equipment readiness on a 5x8 day shift with potential for 4x10 hour shifts. Travel experience is preferred; travel housing provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of interventional cardiac cath lab experience.
• ARRT or RCIS certification required; license if applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Day shift schedule of 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 4x10 hour shifts considered.
• Uses Philips equipment.
• On-call required one shift per week and every third weekend.
• Accurate patient monitoring, equipment setup, access site preparation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintains and stocks cath lab equipment and supplies.
• Follows isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols.
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler.
• First-time travelers may be considered with appropriate experience.
