Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist to support a complete cardiac and peripheral cath lab program in Southwest Oklahoma, requiring at least 2 years of cath lab experience.

Responsibilities include performing left/right heart cath, PTCA, stenting, atherectomy, and device utilization with Philips Laser, IVUS and OCT. Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and x-ray operation is required; travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) preferred
• RCIS or compact license required if applicable
• Recent traveler experience preferred
• Proficiency with cath lab devices including laser systems, IVUS, OCT, and atherectomy equipment
• Must be proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and operating x-ray equipment

Responsibilities

• Complete Cath Lab providing cardiac and peripheral services with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and a general surgeon
• Procedures include Left/Right Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostic and stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker insertion, tilt table test, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic/stent/thrombectomy
• Utilizes Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, and two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• Uses McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
• 8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Rotates call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, split by 4 with roughly 2 days/week and an off week
• No weekend shift requirements outside of call rotation
• Responsibilities include rotating between scrubbing and circulating procedures, operating x-ray equipment, assisting with pre and post procedure areas, transporting patients, and supporting inventory management and billing
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
