Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of current Cath Lab/EP experience and prior travel assignments. The role covers diagnostic and interventional cath lab work in a Cardiovascular/EP Lab setting.

Typical shift is Monday–Friday day hours (7:30 AM–4:00 PM); no weekends or on-call. Requires Epic EMR and travel flexibility; benefits include housing allowances and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current Cath Lab/EP experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Experience with Impella, EP procedures (ICD, PPM), IVUS, and DFR required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification required (ARRT CI preferred)
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required, must be clearly documented on profile
• Must pass Epic competency exam on site
• Proficiency in isolation precautions/PPE, infection control, and sterile technique
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab setting including diagnostic and interventional cath lab work
• Adult diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Procedures include left and right heart catheterization, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, PPI, temporary pacemaker, Impella insertion, and EP studies including AICD insertion/programming
• Epic EMR required
• Monday–Friday day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• No weekends, holidays, or call required
• Cath lab closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
• Travelers expected to float unless otherwise stated
• Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, room circulator duties, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role given the travel experience requirement
• Return travelers must disclose status for staffing approval
• All requested RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration; additional time off requests will not be accommodated afterward
• No block scheduling or special schedule requests will be accommodated
