American Traveler is recruiting a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a day-shift hospital assignment with 4x10 hour days. 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and ACLS/BLS are required; various certifications are preferred.

This role involves diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in an EP-capable setting, with on-site scrubs provided and travel/licensure support. You'll work 7:00 AM–5:30 PM four days per week with after-hours and weekend call about every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT-R certification required; MD state license required if applicable.
• RCIS certification accepted in lieu of state license, if applicable.
• ARRT-CI, CCI RCES, and CCI RCIS certifications preferred.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and PPI insertion preferred.
• Proof of residency must match candidate's licensure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting with EP lab exposure.
• Adult patient population for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Procedures include left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP and Impella placement/removal, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion, and OCT.
• Uses PACS imaging system and Meditech for charting.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days per week.
• After-hours and weekend call required approximately every third weekend.
• No block scheduling accommodations.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including scrub duties and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Scrubs provided; smoke-free facility.
• No radius rule; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• RTO requests reviewed per case basis.
• Pre-start online training modules averaging 4-5 hours completed before start date.
