Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

This role requires scrub, circulate, and monitor of complex cases, with expertise in EPIC charting and related imaging systems. Shifts are 4x10 hours, with on-call duties and potential mandate shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cath lab experience required
• ACLS and BLS certification required (AHA)
• RCIS/RCES certification preferred, license if applicable, EPIC charting experience required

Responsibilities

• Level 1 trauma acute care Cardiac Cath Lab with multiple rooms.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular, right/left heart caths, and EP cases.
• Operate EPIC EMR with XIM, Pyxis, Xcelera, and Siemens/Philips fluoro systems.
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with varying start times (0530-1600 to 0730-1800).
• On-call: 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks, 30-min response.
• May be placed on mandate list to fill unclaimed shifts; on-call every other weekend if needed.
• No floating to other units; orientation focuses on monitoring in XIM and scrubbing/circulating.
• 8 hours of orientation provided; Blue scrubs provided; badge in/out required.
• Candidates with prior employment at this health system must disclose and have end date > 6 months prior.
• Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius
