Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist in New Jersey with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. The role involves 4x10 hour day shifts and a 9-day per month call schedule.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient monitoring, and potential involvement in neuro procedures such as carotid angiography and thrombectomy. Must have ACLS/BLS/ARRT certifications and be eligible for licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, ARRT-CI, ARRT-R certifications.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations.
• Experience with PCI, PTCA and vascular devices.
• Experience with IABP and Impella insertion/removal.
• Experience with pacemaker insertion.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and EP lab.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Call required 9 days per month, including weekends.
• Operate fluoroscopy and Siemens imaging equipment; use PACS for imaging.
• Set up equipment, prep access sites, and monitor patients.
• May perform neuro procedures such as carotid angiography and thrombectomy.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; enforce sterile technique.
• First-time travelers may be considered; reside outside a 50-mile radius.
• Advance RTO requests must be submitted in advance.
