American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience to support Cath Lab, Vascular Lab, and EP procedures in Concord, NC.

The position requires BLS and ACLS, ARRT or RCIS, licensure if applicable, and EPIC EMR proficiency. You will work 10-hour shifts with an on-call rotation in a Level I trauma teaching hospital offering comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• BLS and ACLS required.
• ARRT or RCIS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration.
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a unit with 12 prep/recovery beds, 2 Cath Lab rooms, 1 Vascular Lab, and 1 EP Lab.
• Patient population includes cardiac, STEMI, Afib ablation, device placement, and vascular cases.
• Vascular caseload includes lower extremity angiograms, upper extremity/fistulagrams, interventional cases, PE, DVT, thrombolytics, venograms, fistula creation, carotid angiogram with stent, EVAR, TAVR, and femoral/brachial/pedal access.
• Cath Lab caseload includes right and left heart catheterization with intervention, complex PCI, and pericardiocentesis, mostly radial with some femoral access.
• Uses EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Philips monitors, Merge Hemo, and Siemens X-ray systems.
• 10-hour day shifts from 0700-1730, Monday through Friday, with call rotation
• 40 hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle
• Dedicated Vascular Call Team with weekend rotation and call coverage based on departmental needs
• Call back time is 1 hour for Vascular and 30 minutes for STEMI cases, no sleep room provided
• No floating required
• Level III trauma center, teaching hospital, Chest Pain/STEMI Center, Stroke Center of Excellence, and Bariatric Center of Excellence
• Scrubs provided

• Orientation includes facility NEO, 2 days of departmental EPIC training, and 1 day on the unit
• Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays
• RTO requires manager approval
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
