Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital in Washington. The role requires at least 1 year of cath lab/EP experience, BLS/ACLS, and specific Licensure/certification. Travel experience and ability to float between facilities are expected.

Responsibilities include diagnostic procedures, PCI, TAVR/Watchman, EPS mapping, and device implants using Epic charting; 4x10 hour days with on-call and some holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab/EP experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required (not both).
• WA RT or CIS license required (not both); license required if applicable.
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Prior travel assignment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures and PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, etc.).
• Performs Structural Heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman).
• Performs Electrophysiology procedures (EPS, ablations, AICD implantation).
• Uses Epic charting system for documentation.
• Shifts: 4x10 hour days, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• On-call one day per week plus one weekend every 5–6 weeks.
• Travelers may float between sister facilities near the contracted site.
