Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience for an acute care hospital setting in Columbia, SC. The role requires BLS/ACLS, RCIS/ARRT certification, and SC RN license if applicable.

Epic EMR experience is preferred, with on-call and travel considerations. You'll work in a 304-bed acute care hospital, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, scrubbing and monitoring, and using PCI/rotablator atherectomy techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only).
• RCIS (CCI) or ARRT certification required, registered or in process.
• SC RN license required if applicable; active license before starting.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures.
• Scrub and monitor during PCI, PTCA, rotablator atherectomy.
• Chart in Epic and ensure proper documentation.
• On-call requirements include one weekend every 7 weeks; potential hurricanes assignments.
