Responsibilities

Work in Acute care, Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting in Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
On-call about one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks.
Float within site and across health system as needed.
Use Epic EMR and Philips equipment for procedures.
Perform diagnostic and interventional cath lab and interventional radiology tasks.
Maintain sterile field and scrub in; assist with access site prep.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 1+ years experience in cardiac cath lab and angio procedures with scrub competency.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience required
BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required
Oregon state license (OBMI) required if applicable
Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and scrub procedures
Experience with equipment setup, prepping access site, sterile technique, and PACS system
One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year

Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with none allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
First-time travelers may be considered depending on candidate strength
