American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment in a Los Angeles area hospital. The role requires 2+ years of cath lab experience and ARRT certification, with BLS, Fluoroscopy, and LA City Fire & Safety credentials.

Responsibilities include supporting a cardiac Cath Lab with two procedure suites, performing multiple cases daily, and working with Cerner EMR. Shifts are 8 hours, five days a week, with on-call every other weekend and one holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cath lab experience required.
• ARRT, BLS (AHA), Fluoroscopy, and LA City Fire & Safety certifications required.
• CA RAD and Fluoro certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required for the state of submission.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure suites/labs.
• Acute care setting.
• Average of 5 cases per day.
• Common cases include RHC, LHC, PCI, EP, Rotablator, and peripheral procedures.
• Cerner EMR used.
• Team includes 3 Cath Lab/IR Techs.
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days a week.
• Call required every other weekend on an on-call basis (1-2 weekends per month).
• 30-minute call response time required.
• 1 holiday coverage required.
• Work alongside a team of Cath Lab/IR Techs.
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
