Responsibilities

• Acute care setting in a Level I Trauma facility with 719 beds.
• Cath Lab unit features 11 labs and primary case types including occasional EP.
• Average of 40–50 cases per day across the unit.
• Uses Epic EMR for documentation and charting.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-call requirement of 4–5 shifts per month, including one weekend.
• Past year direct employment with CommonSpirit-affiliated facilities is disallowed; PRN/agency candidates considered.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a Level I Trauma cardiac catheterization lab, requiring RCIS certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab required


• BLS Certification required


• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via CCI required


• Active state or compact (NLC) license required for the state of submission, if applicable


• Epic EMR experience preferred


• Copy of driver's license required for consideration


• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting in a 719-bed Level I Trauma facility


• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 11 labs


• Primary case types include Cath Lab procedures with occasional EP cases (IR handled separately)


• Average of 40-50 cases per day across the unit


• Uses Epic EMR


• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM


• On-call requirement of 4-5 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month


• Minimum of 3 days per month the tech may be placed on call


• Work with relevant cardiac cath lab equipment (CVT)


• Candidates must not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year


• Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
