Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract assignment in Gulfport, MS.

The role requires RCIS certification, state license if applicable, and proven expertise in left heart catheterization, EP/ablation procedures, STEMI cases, and structural heart experiences such as TAVR or Watchman. Travel and housing allowances provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in coronary cath lab and EP procedures
• RCIS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Strong experience with left heart catheterization procedures
• Experience performing EP and ablation cases, including STEMI cases
• Neuro IR experience preferred
• Experience with structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy cardiac cath lab setting performing coronary, EP, and interventional radiology procedures
• Dual modality cath lab handling coronary, EP ablation, and structural heart cases such as TAVR and Watchman
• 4x10 hour day shifts, with some days running shorter or longer depending on case completion
• May float between Biloxi and Gulfport locations
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
• On-call requirement of 8-9 days per month, typically 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
• Coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• Perform coronary catheterization, EP ablation, STEMI, neuro IR, and structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman

• Orientation is held biweekly on Mondays at the Gulfport location
• Credentials are due the Monday prior to the start date
