Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a long-term assignment in a busy cardiac catheterization lab performing complex structural heart and interventional procedures.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology unit setting
• Caseload of 15-20 cardiac catheterization, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and CTO cases per day
• Uses balloon pump, Impella, Volcano, AngioJet, ICE, and laser equipment
• 12-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week
• Rotating on-call requirement including week nights and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience required
• CVOR Techs and CVOR RNs must have 18 months minimum full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years
• Must rate 3s and 4s in cardiac and vascular procedures with strong endovascular experience
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac catheterization, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and CTO procedures using advanced interventional equipment
• Local candidates not accepted; radius rule of 50 miles applies
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
