Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Hickory, NC.

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 355-bed acute care hospital affiliated with Duke Lifepoint Health
• Facility is home to dedicated Heart Center, Brain Center, Cancer Center, Lung Center, and other specialty programs
• Various patient populations served
• Cerner EMR
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirements within clinical scope per facility policy
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers, discharges, and referrals
• Educate patients and families appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Scrubs provided
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
