Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and required California CRRT license for a cardiac interventional radiology role with structural heart capabilities.

Details

• Cardiac interventional radiology room with structural heart capabilities
• 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours (7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM)
• Call requirement of 3 call shifts within a 2-week period
• Weekend call rotation required every 6 weeks
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab/EP required
• California CRRT state license required and must be in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• ACLS, ARRT-R, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• CCI RCIS certification preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills required include venous access, central line and PICC line care, vascular closure systems, hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion
• TAVR and Watchman experience preferred
• Carotid stenting, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and carotid angiography experience preferred
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, PTCA, structural heart interventions, and pacemaker/defibrillator placements
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, room circulating, equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Scrubs are provided
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the system
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a lower bill rate
