Job summary

CoreTrust is seeking a Travel Category Manager to shape the future of our travel solutions portfolio. You will develop category strategies across travel-related services and lead supplier relationships, negotiations, and go-to-market efforts to deliver value for member organizations and CoreTrust.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and member-facing teams, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business travel, travel management, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Strong understanding of travel ecosystem (TMCs, meetings & events, lodging, ground transport).
• Experience managing supplier relationships, contracts, or partnerships.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in corporate travel programs or travel procurement preferred
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across travel-related solutions.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships as primary owner for key partnerships.
• Lead supplier negotiations, renewals, and sourcing initiatives to create member and CoreTrust value.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to launch offerings and drive adoption.
• Monitor performance, analyze trends, and identify growth and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a travel-industry SME supporting internal teams and members as needed
• Stay informed on industry trends and supplier innovations to strengthen CoreTrust portfolio
