Job summary

Wolf Creek Contracting is seeking skilled carpenters to construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures on diverse projects across the Ohio region. You will work with standard hand and power tools, read blueprints, and ensure safety at all times.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing wood components, assembling frames, erecting scaffolding, and inspecting completed work for quality. Travel may be required to job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry tasks and safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Study blueprints to plan layout and materials.
• Measure and mark cutting lines using measuring tools.
• Shape or cut materials with hand/power tools.
• Install structures or fixtures using hand or power tools.
• Verify trueness of structures with level and plumb.
• Build or repair wooden fixtures and frameworks.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders for elevated work.
• Inspect surfaces for damage and repair as needed.
• Assemble parts to create frames or props.
• Remove damaged parts and replace.
• Finish wood surfaces with paint, tools or paneling.
• Construct forms for pouring concrete.
