TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. The PCU RN will provide bedside care, monitor patients on cardiac equipment, and administer medications in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in acute care and hold ACLS/BLS certifications. This travel role offers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with a tax-free stipend likely to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust medications as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor monitoring equipment and interpret readings.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
