TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown in San Francisco, California. This PCU RN role is a travel assignment with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Start date 10/06/2026 and ACLS/BLS required with 2 years acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required; 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret equipment; record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data and patient status.
• PCU travel nurses should stand and walk for long periods and can lift up to 20 pounds; may lift up to 50 pounds when moving patients.
