Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for a day shift role with no prior experience required and ARDMS or CCI certification needed.

The position involves performing cardiovascular ultrasound evaluations in a cardio procedures department, with a standard 40-hour week and no weekends or on-call duties. Training and certification opportunities are available, with free parking provided.

Qualifications

• Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program.
• BLS certification required.
• RDCS certification through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS certification through CCI.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular Sonography unit within a cardio procedures department
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5 days per week
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Perform cardiac ultrasound evaluations and communicate acute findings to the cardiologist
• Route studies for interpretation and obtain pertinent patient health history prior to examination
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use, ensuring timely and efficient turnover between procedures
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and report issues to the appropriate supervisor
• May perform staff training and education
• Free parking provided
