Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for a day-shift outpatient assignment.

Certification required (ARDMS or CCI RCS/RDCS) with at least 1 year of experience and a compact state license in hand. BLS is required, and Epic charting experience is preferred. Travel-ready candidates may be considered for assignment across sister facilities within the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography or related field.
• ARDMS or CCI RCS/RDCS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Compact state license required if applicable and must be in hand at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient adult echo setting at an on-campus medical plaza.
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.
• No on-call requirements.
• Performs Adult Echo, 2-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, and Portable Studies.
• Conducts RVIT and RVOT assessments.
• Performs calculations including Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, and Simpson's Rule.
