Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, SD. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety in a high-pressure cath lab environment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of cath lab experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, plus state licensure as applicable. Travel-friendly benefits included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup per protocol.
• Maintain documentation and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and infection control.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies.
