Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Carbondale, IL. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and will work a 13-week assignment on a 40-hour workweek with 10-hour day shifts.

The Cath Lab role involves assisting physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, stent placements, and implantable devices, while maintaining EKG monitoring and lab equipment in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and stent placements.
• Support electrophysiology procedures and monitoring in the Cath Lab.
• Maintain and monitor EKG equipment and other lab devices.
• Assist with implantable devices such as pacemakers and ICDs.
