Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Chicago, IL. This 13-week assignment requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and includes 40 hours per week with day shifts. You’ll assist during catheterizations, angioplasties, and device implants as part of a cardiovascular team.

The position emphasizes fast-paced, high-stakes care with a supportive TotalMed RN team. Travel RN benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive benefits packages.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required for assignment.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience preferred, for Cath Lab travel RN roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Support electrophysiology procedures and pacemaker/ICD implants.
• Maintain and monitor EKG equipment and patient monitoring during procedures.
