Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Olympia Fields, Illinois. This role requires an RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

You will work 40 hours per week in a Cath Lab setting, performing responsibilities across catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker/ICD placement. The position is travel-based with a 13-week duration, featuring a fast-paced team and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Assist with implantation of pacemakers and ICDs.
• Maintain monitoring equipment and assist physicians with ECG procedures.
• Adapt to a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment.
