Qualifications

• Current Cardiac Cath Lab Interventionalist license/certification.
• Recent experience in a cardiac cath lab/interventional setting.
• Proficient in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current BLS and required specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients undergoing catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including PCI.
• Prepare and monitor patients throughout peri-procedural period.
• Operate or assist with cath lab equipment per facility standards.
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, nurses, technologists and anesthesia.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond to complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies and established standards of care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability to new environments.

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Position Type: Travel / Contract, Must not be a resident in AZ

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Interventionalist for a 13-week travel assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cardiac cath lab professional to join a high-performing clinical team while working with a supportive, RN- and woman-owned staffing firm that understands the needs of healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac catheterization and interventional experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor them throughout the peri-procedural process.
• Operate and/or assist with cardiac cath lab equipment and technology according to facility standards.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, infection prevention, and procedural compliance.
• Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, nurses, technologists, anesthesia, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and procedural complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies, regulatory requirements, and established standards of care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current professional license/certification appropriate to the Cardiac Cath Lab Interventionalist role.
• Recent experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab/interventional cardiology setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current BLS and any required specialty certifications.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and clinical assessment skills.
• Previous travel or contract experience is preferred but not required.

Arizona Licensing Requirement

• Candidates must not reside in Arizona.
• Candidates must hold the appropriate Arizona license/authorization to practice for the position.
• Candidates relying on a Compact State license must be eligible to practice in Arizona under the applicable compact requirements.
• Candidates who are Arizona residents are not eligible for this travel assignment under the staffing firm's travel criteria.

Licensure eligibility will be verified prior to placement.
