Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Interventionalist for a 13-week travel assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves high-level cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures within a fast-paced clinical team.

The ideal candidate will have strong interventional experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly to a new environment, supported by an RN- and woman-owned staffing firm.

Qualifications

• Current professional license/ certification appropriate to the Cardiac Cath Lab Interventionalist role.
• Recent experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab/interventional cardiology setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current BLS and any required specialty certifications.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and clinical assessment skills.
• Previous travel or contract experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor them throughout the peri-procedural process.
• Operate and/or assist with cardiac cath lab equipment and technology according to facility standards.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, infection prevention, and procedural compliance.
• Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, nurses, technologists, anesthesia, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and procedural complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies, regulatory requirements, and established standards of care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment.
