Qualifications

• GS-09 specialized experience including data gathering from databases for audits and reports.
• GS-11 specialized experience including monitoring records, advising customers, and GTC administration.
• Education or combination of education and experience as described for GS-09/GS-11.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of accounting, financial management, auditing, and administrative functions within the Finance and Accounting Branch.
• Analyze financial performance trends and develop process improvements to enhance the performance of the travel program.
• Audit and analyze civilian payroll and travel card financial transactions.
• Interprets accounting guidance, policies and regulations, and implements them accordingly.
• Assists in providing financial advice and recommendations based on law, regulations, and professional knowledge of financial management practices.
• Serves as the Agency Program Coordinator administering the Government Travel Card Program, audit travel vouchers for regulatory compliance, and maintain surveillance over financial management records to ensure the accurate execution of funds.
