Job summary

Enbio-Corp in California is seeking a Biomedical Field Service Technician I responsible for maintenance, repair, and support of assigned medical equipment across client healthcare facilities. The role requires daily driving to various sites and includes a monthly automobile stipend.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on medium- and high-risk devices, reading schematics and using CMMS for documentation.

Qualifications

• Full understanding of medical equipment, human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques for equipment repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on medium-risk equipment and select high-risk medical devices.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical data including schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to learn equipment maintenance and repair procedures from training materials and literature.
• Fundamental knowledge of electronics including analog, digital, microprocessor theory, pneumatics, hydraulics, optics, electro-mechanics, physics, basic networking, and chemistry.
• Knowledge of standard test equipment such as multimeters, electrical safety analyzers, patient simulators, oscilloscopes, manometers, tachometers.
• Skilled in the use of tools and test equipment required for job duties.
• Adherence to confidentiality requirements and safeguarding of PHI.
• Competent in using a CMMS for documentation.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to medical equipment management.
• Ability and willingness to drive daily to multiple client sites; reliable transportation is required.
• Compliance with monthly automobile stipend program for field travel.

• Knowledge of standard test equipment such as multimeters, electrical safety analyzers, patient simulators, oscilloscopes, manometers, tachometers, etc.
• Skilled in the use of tools and test equipment required for job duties.
• Adherence to confidentiality requirements and safeguarding of protected health information (PHI).
• Competent in using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for documentation.
